If the error above appears for your Testing page, it means that you have entered your ACT and/or SAT scores incorrectly.
For example, this error would appear if you entered an invalid composite test score (e.g., an ACT composite score of 45). For reference, the highest composite ACT and SAT score is 36 and 1600, respectively. This error can also occur if the composite score does not match the total of the section scores, or if you selected the incorrect test type.
To resolve this error, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Testing page, and select the "Edit" button to review the test score entry details.
Confirm that all section sub-scores have been entered correctly. You can update this information by entering the correct information and clicking the "Save" button.
Confirm that the entered composite score is correct and valid, based on the test type. You can update this information by entering the correct information and clicking the "Save" button.
If this information has been entered properly, ensure that you have selected the correct test type. For example, if you have taken the ACT, make sure you have correctly identified whether it is the Legacy or Enhanced exam. Note: If you've recently taken an ACT exam with an optional Science section, the correct test type is ACT (Enhanced).
- If you need to update your test type, you will need to delete the entry and re-enter the test score details. Click the "Delete" button to remove the existing entry, and then click the "Add Test" link to input the correct details.
