Finalist: A National College Match applicant who has been selected by QuestBridge as a high-achieving student from a low-income background. Finalists can participate in the ranking process to be considered for early admission and a Match Scholarship to our college partners, and are also able to apply to college partners through QuestBridge Regular Decision.
Only Finalists may be considered for the Match Scholarship. QuestBridge will send the student's National College Match application to the colleges they have ranked and/or apply to through QuestBridge Regular Decision. Finalists also receive automatic application fee waivers for all QuestBridge college partners.
Match Scholarship Recipient: A Finalist who is admitted to a QuestBridge college partner through the Match and receives the Match Scholarship, a full scholarship with no parental contribution and no loans offered directly by our college partners.
Students are matched with the college highest on their ranking list that is able to admit them with the Match Scholarship. Students can only be matched with one college, and this admission is binding.*
