The School Report is also known as the counselor recommendation. It is a required component of the National College Match application for high school seniors and can provide a sense of how a student stands out within their class at school. Please note that the School Report is not a required component of the College Prep Scholars Program application.
The School Report helps QuestBridge and our college partners evaluate the applicant relative to other students at their school. The School Report should be filled out by the student's current high school counselor. It cannot be filled out by a counselor from a previous school or another institution.
The online form includes questions about your student's academic performance and personal qualities, as well as space for you to include a letter of recommendation. Additionally, you should include a School Profile (if available) and any additional information on your high school. You will also be able to upload your student's transcript and test score reports (if taken). Students can also upload their transcripts and test score reports through their application.
