The College Prep Scholars Program is open to any high school junior currently attending high school in the U.S. Additionally, U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents living abroad are eligible for the program.
International students living outside the U.S. are not eligible.
From our founding over 30 years ago, QuestBridge has always been an organization focused on creating opportunities for high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds, regardless of race, geography, or academic interest. Since our inception through today, no preference is given based on any protected characteristics (i.e., race, ethnicity, or gender). We recognize that students of all backgrounds may face long-term financial and circumstantial obstacles to higher education.
QuestBridge is looking for exceptionally talented high school juniors who come from low-income backgrounds. Generally, they:
- Earn primarily A's in the most challenging courses offered and demonstrate strong writing ability and intellectual curiosity.
- Come from a household earning less than $65,000 annually (for a household of four members) with minimal assets.
- Demonstrate resilience, integrity, and motivation to succeed.
For more information on our eligibility criteria, please see the Apply to the College Prep Scholars Program page and our profile of students who have had success with QuestBridge programs in the past year.
