If you choose to submit an optional video through Glimpse, remember that it should help us get to know you and your personality better and enhance your overall application. Below are some tips to keep in mind. Review the Optional Video page in your application for additional instructions for submitting a video.
- Be your authentic self and speak naturally, rather than memorizing or reading from a script. The video is meant to be an informal opportunity that does not require any special preparation, props, or venue.
- Record your video somewhere quiet and without distractions, and be mindful of your background.
- Make sure your audio is clear and all of your words can be easily heard.
- Your video should be primarily in English, as we cannot guarantee reviewer fluency in any other language.
- Avoid mentioning a specific college or university. Any school you apply to through QuestBridge may review your video.
- Use the video as an opportunity to show a side of your personality or unique story that will enhance and add to the rest of your application. Refrain from including important details critical to your application that you did not include elsewhere in your application; anything necessary for our review should be added to the appropriate section.
- Have fun!
