Work-study is an opportunity to earn money for day-to-day expenses through a part-time job. While you can get a campus job even if work-study isn't part of your financial aid package, certain jobs may be reserved for work-study students. Check your financial aid package to see if you were awarded work-study.
If work-study is included in your package, it's a good idea to start looking for work-study jobs before arriving on campus, as you'll most likely need to apply to multiple positions and go through at least one interview process. Hiring for most work-study jobs happens early on in the school year. Not sure whether work-study is a part of your financial package, or wondering where to look for a work-study job?
