No. We ask educators to refer students to us via our Refer a Student form because educators are likely to know students eligible for our programs, but it is not necessary to be referred in order to apply. Any student may begin an application.
Please note that referrals do not influence selection for our programs and only help us provide information directly to students. Educators are welcome to refer as many students as they believe qualify for our programs.
