When you exclude a recommender, that entry (including the link sent to your recommender or counselor) will be made inactive and can no longer be used to submit a recommendation. If your recommender had already submitted a recommendation, it will not be included with your application, so you should only exclude recommendations you no longer want to have considered. If possible, please let your recommender know that you are excluding them so they do not try to submit a letter to an inactive link.
To exclude your recommender, go to the Recommendations page of your application. You can exclude a recommender that you registered by clicking on the recommender’s name and then the “Exclude” button at the bottom of the dialogue box.

Similarly, you can exclude a counselor you registered for your School Report on the Academic page.
Note: If you entered the correct email address for your recommender but they have not received the email with the link to your recommendation, please have them check their spam first and, if it is not there, please have them email us at questions@questbridge.org for further assistance. They should provide your name and QuestBridge ID when they reach out to us.
