We ask for two teacher recommendations and one School Report (also known as the counselor recommendation) for the National College Match application. Once you register your recommenders and counselor in the application, they will receive a unique link to their online recommendation form.
Please note that you can and should submit your application even if your teacher recommendations have not been submitted. You will be able to register or change recommenders after submission, and all recommendations submitted on your behalf by the teacher recommendation and School Report deadline will be considered in your application review.
Both teacher recommendations should be from a recent high school teacher who taught you in a core academic subject (English, History/Social Studies, Math, Science, and Foreign Language), preferably during your junior year.
You should not have your current high school counselor or school official complete one of the two required recommendations. Instead, they should complete the School Report (which is also referred to as the counselor recommendation).
