Your non-custodial household typically refers to the parent (and step-parent, if applicable) whom you do not live with or live with less than 50% of the time, and should include individuals who live in their home and who are financially supported at least 50% by your non-custodial parent. Usually this will mean siblings, step-siblings, or other financially dependent relatives who live in this household, like cousins or grandparents. Siblings who are 23 or under and are undergraduates in college should also be included if they are supported 50% or more by this parent, even if they spend much of the year living elsewhere. Siblings who are attending graduate school should not be included.
You should NOT include yourself or people who live in the household that are NOT supported 50% or more by your non-custodial parent. If someone is included in your primary household, they should NOT also be included here.
